Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked . Service with a good morning and smile , room was clean and tidy and ideal . All staff very friendly . Ideal situation for town and walk along the beach .
Only downside was shower , a bit dirty but then sharing it , probably doesn’t help much .
But definitely would recommend the place
A excellent location close to the castle and seafront although parking can be a problem.
My room was OK could have had a bit more storage space and a chair would have been useful also had a problem closing the window.
Nice cooked breakfast which includes fruit juice and cereal

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nice affordable stay. In particular we like to mention Richard who gave us breakfast during our 5 night stay. He was really helpful, professional and friendly
Easy self check-in, comfy bed, plenty of space for two, and a tasty breakfast. Staff were lovely and the shared bathroom was clean. A few carpet and furniture stains, and the room had a slightly cheesy smell, but overall a good stay.
Parking was easyily found. The check in was straightforward and the room comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with friendly efficient staff.
Friendly helpful staff, clean room, excellent breakfast - an unexpected bonus! Parking could have a bit more information about where it’s ok to park - we were unclear about the rules for yellow line parkinh
Staff really friendly and helpful. Location couldn’t be better just a few minutes to the beach. Overall we would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Aberystwyth.
A picture perfect location by the sea. Street parking but no problems finding a spot. Staff were great, beds/pillows were comfy and breakfast was excellent, made to order and piled high. The only drawback was the shared washroom...for those who need to get up throughout the night it can be a
Really like how close it is to the ocean, nice breakfast! However it can be challenging to find parking plus WiFi is a bit spotty on the top floor. Otherwise nice stay!
Check in and out was easy. The price and facilities were reasonable reasonable for a short stay. Breakfast was good, but could add fruit and porridge for vegans/ vegetarians.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It might have had a lick of paint since most of the online photos were taken, but it doesn't look as though its been cleaned much since then.
Very dusty and dirty in both the rooms and the bathroom. With regards to cleaning, i'd say the bare minimum has been done. You can usually tell from the corners of the room and especially the cupboard, which was quite dirty and could have been in the same condition since any renovations. Musty smell throughout too.
I noted some other reviewers noticed the shower head was mouldy. That wasnt a problem for us, but the shower hose was black with mould. If it was cleaned at least twice a month this wouldnt be a problem.
The check in was smooth, with a polypocket left for us on the reception counter, although it is a little reliant on trust that nobody enters your room before you. Would perhaps be better to do multiple lock boxes if the reception isn't going to be manned. Plus point is that at least it was very close to the sea front and car parks.
