"Great character property with beautiful bedrooms that are mostly individual. Great upstairs pool and elegant lounge salon in main building. Only minor issue is the road facing rooms above the entrance has several elderly men who talk incessantly 18 hours a day in a loud booming voice, but there in nothing the hotel can do about that. Beach Breakfast area with its world class view lacks elegant chairs that lessens its leisurely appeal. I had to remind myself all the time I was in a 4 star hotel...

"My fiance has dreamed about staying at this place since she was a little girl in Tanzania. She told me this after I had found another place to book :) I'm glad we switched though! Beautiful property! Not 5 star but for the price it was right on the mark. Attention to detail would move this place up a notch for sure. Overall experience was 5 star! "This was a beautiful property. The staff was beyond amazing and so accommodating. My fiancée and I wanted to use the hotel to take our engagement photos. We spoke with management to sure it was ok and they allowed us to do so. They were so pleasant about it and some of the staff actually stepped in to help that day of the shoot. Aside from the shoot, they were just great people with such good hearts and wonderful culture. I loved it there! I'll be back."

"We stayed here for four nights and decided to have only breakfast include so we could try different restaurants around for the other meals. The breakfast assortment was big and pretty decent. The room was spacious but we could see it was a bit old and very used. The staff was always nice and available for every necessity."

"Really lovely grounds. Staff and food very good too. It is an old building, but I think the rooms need a bit more maintenance. Multiple things in my room didn’t work (mainly things in the bathroom and safe) I would stay again though. "
