"Great decor! Brand new wing is lovely but note is separate to the main hotel. Excellent breakfast. Very honest staff. The hotel tours team v high std and good value for Dhow and snorklong trips. Spa appraently good but disaapintingly hard to book. "

"Superb location, charming hotel, absolut stunning view of both ocean and rooftop pool from the family room with (huge) balcony and sea view. We felt we had gotten the princess suite 😀. Family room contains 2 beds that easily holds 2 adults each and 1 bed for either an adult or 2 kids and plenty of space besides the beds and funny couch. "We had a great stay in this historical building. The room (especially the sheets) were clean, the building was amazing (make sure to check out the view from the roof), we enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff were great (and available 24/7). A great place to stay in Stone Town."
