"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast at the hostel was very good with a lot of options. They had shared washrooms, but also some you could have privacy (toilet, sink, shower in closed in room)- very impressive which i've never seen anywhere else! The art on the walls, the rooftop views and ability to chill and have a drink at night was spectacular! They had a kitchen that people were using that worked very well. Machines available for drinks/snacks and staff available to get...

"This hotel is a very short walk from Lake Bled, but is set back from the main road so that it's quiet. It has a large free parking area in front. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful - outstanding! Our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything that we needed. Breakfast included everything to start the day well. Lake-side cafes and restaurants are nearby. It's easy to rent bikes and go for a ride around Lake Bled in under and hour. We'd love to go back to this hotel...

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic.
