"The “private beach” was unclean and small. The public beach was better and cleaner. Nothing to do around the area. The room we got did not had beach view. When asked for it they told us that because the bought via Expedia, that they can not move us to a beach view. I’m realizing that they treat people different when they see the package is bought through expedía"

"Had a terrible experience at this hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because it said they were “pet friendly” on Expedia. They absolutely are not. I did not mind that my ESA dog is not considered a service animal and I would have to pay a fee but upon arrival I was asked to sign a contract that said I cannot leave my dog alone in the room at any time. It also said that if my dog barks at all I can be fined $250. I asked about this and wanted to know if my dog is allowed in the pool area...

"Amazing breakfast! Location very good. Attentive staff, plenty of wild life such as iguanas, sharks (we spotted a baby shark and a bigger one!), fish, birds etc. The nice thing is that you can use 2 hours per day a sub, kajak, fishing rod, bicycle and more for free!"

"We had a balcony oceanfront, gorgeous. Room was beautiful and spacious, bathroom was amazing. 2 issues, one the electronic door lock battery died and we waited about 30” outside in 90 degree weather for maintenance to show up and fix/ let us in. Second - a dog pooped on our door threshold overnight and we had to step over a pile to get out of our room, that was a little disturbing at such a high end location. "

"They advertise beachside which is completely false! The size of the beach is smaller than my backyard patio! I will never stay here again, staff was not helpful and made it clear to me that this is vacation homes and you get leftover from owners that are not using the units when I asked foe a higher floor. I checked out a day early, my Mother’s day trip was ruined, my mom was looking forward to an Ocean view as they advertised! I was treated like a second class citizen to say the least...

Loved the pool, attendants took took good care of the area. There were several things that I think need attention, there was a table lamp that needed to be leaning against the wall or it would fall over. One of the elevators made clunking noises and was extremely slow. We thought it was stuck. I only saw one German roach, but there could be more....

"This was our 25th wedding anniversary and a bucket list trip for us. We had roaches in our room in the room next to us had a dog that would bark at all hours of the night. We went to the front desk and called several times to no avail. Finally, on our third night they said the next morning they would deep clean our room and spray it for bugs. They never did. M when we arrived Our sheets had black stains on them and they were never changed. Our shower had rocks and sand in. It was also never...

"The place is amazing.. the pool front room was on point. The only thing I disliked was for the amount of money spent on the room (which was over $310, and I stayed 5 days) they did not provide breakfast. All meals need to be purchased and they are not cheap by any means. Now I will say that the food was amazing though."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection. The property was clean, comfortable, and had such a relaxing resort-style atmosphere, especially around the pool area. The shuttle service to Old Town made exploring incredibly easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a great Key West experience without the chaos of staying directly on Duval...
