"Overall, the hotel and location exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate at all the restaurants on site and used both pools and the private beach area. "Our first time to Malta and we clearly made the right decision to stay on the West Coast for a peaceful rest, amazing beaches and outstanding customer service at the Radisson Blu. Shout out to all the restaurants for quality and delicious meals, we visited them all and the attentiveness was amazing. Pros: Private beach, clean pools, spacious public areas, bus stop to Valletta just outside, beautiful sunsets. Cons: No party vibe, just 1 restaurant in walking distance."

"Bear in mind that outside of peak (hot) season, the hotel does not allow you to control the aircon in your room! The thermostat in my room did not work during my Spring 2026 stay. Reception confirmed that the temperature is centrally controlled outside of Summer and guests cannot adjust their room aircon manually. Something I have never seen in a 5* hotel and piss poor. Hotel and reception staff / concierge all excellent"

"The check in process for same day (booked at 3pm at airport when Airbnb canceled same day due to property issues) was delayed until after 8pm. There were places to lounge while waiting but with jet lag it was not ideal. The property itself was beautiful with a great breakfast buffet. We were able to walk to all the locations we wanted to visit."

"On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. The hotel is old, some cracks in walls and terraces, the many elevators are a maze, not all of them worked.
