"We had such a great stay at the Grey Fox Inn! The location was perfect for our family trip. It was close enough to enjoy visits to Ben & Jerry’s and the Shelburne Museum, while also being right in the heart of Stowe with plenty of great local spots to eat and explore. Our kids especially loved the indoor pool, it was a great way to relax after busy days of sightseeing. "My son and I travelled for a week through New England hiking, and none of the hotels we stayed in showed as much hospitality as the owners of the Smuggler's Notch Inn. Pat welcomed us when we arrived, gave us info on where we could get dinner (the attached Village Tavern was great), and our bedroom with attached bathroom was charming and comfortable.
