"The resort is located in a nice and quiet part of the town with a nice stretch of beach. We got a free upgrade to a very nice room. We had a great dinner at the restaurant. Very friendly staff all around providing excellent service whenever needed. The breakfast has a great selection of Khmer as well as western food. The beach is combed to remove washed up rubbish. The property is slightly dated but I highly recommend this place."

"Sadly my stay at the property was cut short by Sihanoukville going into lock down. Extremely professional staff and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a an excellent hotel by the beach once the danger has passed."

A big difference between a three star and four star. We stayed at a 4 star 10 minutes away on the beach. Was amazing compared to this hotel. And for the same price per night. "The Coolabah Hotel is conveniently located, a short walk from Ochheuteal Beach and very close to the Golden Lions Roundabout, which makes it easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful, and getting laundry done was very cheap. (They charge by the kilo, not by the garment.) The room was decent but pretty basic. My only real complaint was that the air conditioner was weak and seemed to take forever to cool the room (and even then it only cooled the side of the room nearest the air...
