"We really enjoyed the location, staff, cleanliness, and design of this hotel. It was the perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. We were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. The only complaint I have is based on principle alone. We were charged a $25 per day amenity fee that is not disclosed anywhere and it is not mentioned or listed at check-in. "No deep cleaning done in rooms. Dirty in bathroom. Bedding was old and worn. Very limited staff. Breakfast offered was stale muffins awful. Pool was not maintained and an oily film was floating on top. I always look at the rating on properties and this hotel was definitely misrepresented. Old, Old, Old and the room rate was expensive for a hotel stay of this quality. Would not recommend this property to anyone."

"Our stay was pleasant except for the fact that we booked a King size room on Expedia, and the Sunday House Inn put us in a room with two smaller beds. When asked about the discrepancy the woman at the desk blamed it on Expedia and said that they just didn’t have a King size room available. No offer of a discount, no apology, nothing. "

"I had a wonderful two-night stay at La Quinta Inn in Fredericksburg. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The hotel was clean, quiet, well-lit, and I felt safe throughout my stay. "I liked that it didn't have a hotel feel. I didn't see staff but I also liked that.The room had everything you needed. It had more of a private feel than your usual hotel.
