"1. Very expensive - £751 for 3 nights 2. The most unhelpful and unkind staff ive ever come across. 3. My husband had a stroke 3 days before we were due to go. I contacted the hotel and was transferred to their call centre. They offered a goodwill gesture to rebook which I was really grateful for. I explained that flights to jersey from our nearest airport in edinburgh stop in october and start again in april therefore could i rebook for the first week in april as my husband cant fly just now...

"The position of Hotel Christina is excellent. Not only for the fantastic view across St Lawrence bay but also for accessing amenities, parks, promenade and restaurants . Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Food was generous,varied and of a good standard. Only slight niggle old be we found the lighting in the restaurant of an evening too bright so faltered to create any ambiance. Also the bathrooms a little dated."

"Immaculate hotel and the staff were always courteous and helpful. Ideally situated for us in the heart of the St Helier, near the marina, bus station and ferry ports. The breakfast was extensive and the evening buffet excellent and good value for residents at £32 per head."

"Clean room, facilities ok. The bathroom shelf was at an angle, so everything eventually rolled off it. Annoying light pollution from the radiator. Staff were helpful enough. I didn't appreciate being told that I couldn't swap an alcoholic wine drink for a soft drink as part of the steak night "deal", so took my business elsewhere."
