"Very nice hotel"

"I knew I'd made the right choice of hotel from the moment I arrived. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the public rooms were gorgeous and tastefully decorated. Everything looked immaculate and gave a great first impression. I dined in the restaurant one evening and the meal was one of the best I've had in a while. The waiting staff are perfect - attentive but not over-bearing. The spa facilities were wonderful. Overall, a fabulous stay and I'd definitely book again."

"The staff are helpful and did give us an upgrade . But the place is in desperate need for repairs. Showers and toilets don’t work very good , you have to flush multiple times and hard to get a good temperature,grab bar missing bolt ,and the rooms look rough.Ran into other people with the same issues. And we heard that the boss is a cheap and belittling man I would not recommend this place ."

"The breakfast was great, the restaurant in the club house was nicer than in the main hotel. The spa was excellent (massages and great pedicure with friendly staff). The pool was good, but busy. Convenient location."

"Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Torquay lived up to the brand’s reputation for consistency and in several areas, exceeded expectations. Parking was straightforward, with ample options both on-street and in a nearby multi-storey just a short walk away (under 200 yards), which made arrival and daily outings very easy. The hotel foyer was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with useful local information readily available. Our room was on the smaller side compared to typical U.S....

"We really enjoyed our stay. We used the pool and it was lovely. The room we had was very nice and the staff were very friendly. We used the meal van that is on some evenings whilst we stayed and the food was great. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay in this property. Fantastic location right on the seafront - we had a sea view from our spacious family room. We needed to check in very late and we contacted the hotel to make sure this wasn’t a problem - the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and our late check in was not an issue. Good range of choice for breakfast - cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissants and pastries, meats and cheese plus a hot buffet. We have only given 4 stars for the property condition...

"A lovely estuary view balcony room enhanced by the late April sunshine. A beautifully fitted overlarge bathroom with feature bath and rain forest shower. Quality bramley accessories. Quite happy not to pay extra for the cooked breakfast as the continental version was comprehensive. The car park was tricky but the helpful steward organised our space satisfactory. The estuary view is superb and we would heartily recommend the hotel even for a few days despite the high cost."

"I needed to be in Plymouth for an event. While it’s only 17 miles away, I was so busy that day, and the day after I booked a hotel in town. When I saw a Moxy had opened I had to stay there. I was not disappointed. It’s in what I would call a developing part of the city. The parking (paid) provided by the hotel is a little small. However over the road is a large paid car park. The hotel itself has all the laid back, chilled vibe that you’d want and expect from a Moxy. It’s perfect for most...

"Value for money clean attentive staff, good breakfast and well placed only I would be careful with is pay for your parking when you get there if you miss the signs"
