I would like to see more information about the hotel services to be more readily available in the rooms and public areas (ie spa & other facilities). the pool should be renovated and enlarged. Also the hotel should provide some paddle boats and kayaks for rent so that people can enjoy the beautiful lake."

"The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent. So clean and wonderful. "

"Food good, breakfast nice, although expensive. Swimming pool looked and prob was lovely but right next to restaurant with glass walls so a bit too public for us. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived. The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk."
