"There was no toilet brush in the bathroom, no extractor fan to take away smells and shower steam. There was no side table on one side of the bed, glasses of water, cups of tea, mobile phone and personal items had to placed on the floor beside the bed. Room was clean and tidy"

"This is a lovely hotel the only thing that let it down was the evening meal . Every night choices on the menu weren’t available. We stayed 5 nights and the evening meals were disappointing. We asked to speak to the chef and were told that all the meals came in frozen except the steak and didn’t resemble a rump steak it was shaped like a jenga brick and grossly we were offer gravy which we had to pay extra for and it only came with a few chips and rocket with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. "Standards seems to have gone down, quite a lot of dust around. The lift still being out of commission is a problem and doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the description. I believe this is a long term problem as the staff indicated that "spare parts" were no longer available. Very young staff and hit and miss service. Good position though."
