"The staff were excellent and very helpful but our stay was let down by the noise from the road outside our balcony. If you are booking a city view be aware that there is constant noise during the day from trucks and motorcycles. Thankfully it was quieter during the night. Also for bad sleepers there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom. Apart from that the facilities are very good."

"Thank you Manteo Resort for a wonderful stay for my family & friends!!! We were greeted with a birthday cake slice recognizing my friend’s 40th birthday and a complimentary yoga class Sunday morning. Super comfy beds and grateful for the in-suite laundry and dishwasher!!! The grounds were beautiful and kiddos loved the heated pool. We’ll be back!"

"This was my second time at BlackRock as it's a beautiful resort right on the ocean. The hot tub was not as clean as I would expect for this high end resort also the hot tub hours are 10:00- 9pm and there is no "adult only hour" so it was pretty full of little ones and squishy which wasn't super enjoyable. I would also suggest check in be at 4pm as 5 pm is a bit late. Other then that everything was perfect."
