"The hotel is older and will soon be acquired and remodeled by Marriott. This is a pet friendly hotel as well. I liked the design of the rooms but, ours had a musty odor upon opening the door. Leaving the patio and front door open for a bit helped with the smell. We loved the ocean view, though. The carpet had stains on it. Maybe from dogs that had been in the room previously? The kitchen/living room was cute and remodeled. The sofa and other seating had stains. Maybe from pets? We mainly sat on the dinette seats. The beds were clean and the furniture still had a new wood smell. The sheets smelled fresh and clean. The bathroom was very roomy and clean. The towels were very clean and plush. We had plenty for a family of three. The only thing that was lacking were paper towels but, we just used a hand towel from the bathroom. The soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles were the cheap variety. The in-house restaurant was very nice. The breakfasts were ordered were tasty and filling. The ocean view in the cafe was amazing. The hotel sits right on the beach which was so convenient. The sands were clean and the beach area was well maintained. We had a nice stay but, we probably won't be back until after the remodel is done in 2027."
