"Really enjoyed my stay at 2L de blend. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes away from the city centre by bicycle or transport, making it ideal if you want to have a quieter stay. You have the option of renting a bicycle at the hotel or by using public bicycles two minutes away from the hotel. There’s also a nice cheap grocery store about five minutes away on foot so you can fill your fridge or pick up quick bites to eat. I found the whole stay to be incredibly simple, efficient, exactly what you’d want. The reception allowed me to store my bags early prior to check in, when I came back it was incredibly efficient and easy to get my key. The room was quite spacious, you get a very large kitchen area and bedroom area, making it not as crowded as some other options. The only disadvantages at the bathroom is a bit stuffy, but it’s not the worst. You also don’t get provided much complementary things such as cooking oils, spices, or water, it’s more barebones aside from soaps. I found the hotel to be very quiet, almost as if there was not much presence from other guests. It was very refreshing after being in some very busy hotels, and I wish I could stay longer. I will absolutely make this a priority when I return to the Utrecht area, I recommend guests to try a stay."

"We stayed at the wonderful Eye Hotel for seven nights in July. We were so happy we chose this hotel as our home base as we toured Utrecht and did day trips to Amsterdam, Delft, and more. The Eye Hotel is in a great area which we found to be very central and within walking distance of amenities. Slightly tucked away on a quieter street, it was nice to be away from the noisy areas but still feel like we were in a hip spot. The hotel and room itself were wonderful! Very clean and more than enough room for two - we stayed on the second floor. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Although we didn’t have the breakfast which looked great, the free lattes and cappuccinos in the morning were a great way to start the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again in the near future."
