Outdated retreat

We enjoyed our overall stay at Sea Oats although the rooms are smaller than appears on website and the kitchenette needs a major overhaul as appliances are outdated to the point of stove not working properly and exterior of refrigerator had a rust issue. The light fixtures in the bathroom gave off enough heat to keep you warm in a Northern winter. Only the 4 end units overlook the pool and ocean while all others overlook the parking lot. The beds however were very comfortable and the staff was very polite with alert grounds keeper. Although the unit was outdated and overpriced for what you get, it was clean and served it's purpose of a place to retreat after a day of sun and surf. With updates, I would stay again at Club Sea Oats.

Room was very close to pool/hot tub/beach front inspite of having beach front room w/balcony/patio as I had expected. Those rooms were reserved for timeshare owners although they were vacant while we were there. Did not like the fact that there was no attendees on property 24/7. We had a room reserved for Friday night but could not retrieve a key from lock box 2nd try to enter room. Ended up sleeping in my van til 7:am next morning until maintenance man showed up at 7:pm. Office manager did not show at 7:am as promised...then threatened to call police if we didn't leave. I had paid reservations to stay there for 3 nights not just 2 nights. She was no help & angry that I had reported incidents to Expedia for my inconvenience.

The property was exactly what I expected. It had some signs of wear, but the location was perfect and the rooms had everything we needed to have a great stay. The staff was helpful. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and relaxing. The only thing we didn't like was the construction next door that woke us up starting around 8am on week days, but there isn't much the property can do about that.

the unit is what it claims to be. A budget friendly 2 bedroom kitchenette. Its older and some rust spots but it was a good place to stay. It has a nice pool area and close to Winn Dixie

At first we were disappointed because there were no Balconies on property. We even tried to cancel the last 2 days. But.... we enjoyed the property and quietness of the area. Pool was well maintained even though we didn't use because of air temp.

The property is a little older, but if you are looking for you no frills, relaxed right on the beach place, this is it. Room was clean and spacious. Deb in office was friendly and informative. It is a few blocks down from the busy Main Street, so a little quieter.

I like the price the two bedroom two baths kitchen was appealing. However fixtures and furniture are outdated shower didn't work properly (real low flow LOL.) I would stay there again

hated the uncomfortable seating and bedding, especially since i told' Warden' Debbie as i call her, that my wife just had back surgery and needed at least a chair with a back cushion. she couldn t have been less accomodating or less helpfull. There was almost no other guests and refused to put us in any of the rooms i thought we would be in.We actually left a day early, because it was so uncomfortale, not only for my wife, but myself as well. Thanks for NOTHING WARDEN.

No frills get away

The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s surprisingly nice inside. I slept very well as it was quiet and the bed was super comfy. It’s also right by the beach so one can short circuit having to find parking and a trip to the beach. Staff were reasonably friendly although quite strict about enforcing check out time and not parking beyond checkout time on their property despite there being almost no guests which I found unreasonable

Location was great, room was clean, office receptionist was nice. But and there's is always a but! The office was closed by the time you check in which is by 4 p.m. Made arrangements to get my key when I arrive. So there is no real problem there just be sure to communicate I suggest calling the hotel the day you make reservations and also call the hotel the day of arrival so there are no surprises. One last thing the biggest disappointment of the hotel was the jacuzzi was closed down😟😕🙁.... other than that the stay was great the pool was great the beach was great the room was great the whole location was great for me!

The property had a extreme musty smell upon entry so much so that we lowered the thermostat to 70 and bought an air freshener. The wicker furniture within the unit was old and worn out. The entire unit need a fresh coat of paint and some TLC. The unit did have two bedrooms and a kitchen which was nice. Swimming pool is nice and good access to the Ocean.
