So, I’ll give a full review: this hotel was horrible, the staff at the front desk and concierge were rude and unwelcoming. The room was not very clean. The entrance to the hotel was built in such a way that didi drivers could not easily access it and consequently my spouse and I were forced to cross the street to enter or exit our car hire. The room was also cramped and the furniture was tired. Generally speaking this hotel and the staff were a major low point of my trip and represented a distinct abnormality when compared with every other hotel I stayed at. It does not surprise me that my original review was protested by this hotel despite it being just the single first sentence you see here - the individuals who manage this hotel do not seem to be willing to accept honest feedback. "

"From the moment we stepped out of our Didi van, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They attended to our needs with patience and care. The breakfast buffet offers ample selections of Eastern and Western palates. The room is practically an aromatherapy session for the senses, offering a choice of aroma incense or aroma wax. The views of the Bund, day or night, were awesome. There are a couple of good shopping centers within walking distance and a jogging track if you feel like it. A perfect place to wind down and relax after all the hard work."
