"The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, our room looked like it had not been cleaned very well. When we first arrived, we noticed there was change on one of the desks, presumably from the last guest. There was also a lot of lint/ fuzz on the carpets. After we had settled in, we went into the bathroom and noticed that there was something visible under the bathroom counter. It was a mouldy lemon. Not sure how long this had been there. There was also no body wash...

Rooms (I was in a single bed alone) were very small which I don't care about as I was out all day, but just be aware. The only part of that which was an issue was the toilet was too close to the wall which was a little hard to use as a tall person. I would still stay there again no hesitation despite that, great location."

"While the staff were very kind, the property was not clean and well maintained. Stains on the furniture and bathtub, dirt around the bathtub and toilet. The food at the restaurant was not good. Our table of four did not enjoy our meals, and had to send food back multiple times."

"Brilliant stay, massive comfortable bed, very clean room, really tasty breakfast with lots of options for breakfast. Friendly staff. Only negative was that the car park was full as there appeared to be a corporate event at the hotel. We had nowhere to park our car and ended up having to leave it near a housing development a short walk from the hotel which I wasn’t completely comfortable doing."

"I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. The hotel gave me the peacefulness and calm I needed before my flight home to Los Angeles. The village it is in is just beautiful with tons of restaurants and the famous Gibney's bar.
