"We absolutely loved this place! It was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. We got there on a Wednesday and the lady who checked us in was super helpful and sweet. Our room was nice and clean as well. There is no mini-fridge in the Lodge rooms, but there is a communal fridge at the end of each hallway to store leftovers and drinks and such. The hotel was nice and quiet up until the weekend, and even then it was probably busier than a typical weekend there because it was the 4th of July. It doesn’t seem like there is any central AC in the main areas of the hotel (or they never turned it on), but the AC unit in our room was very powerful and cold! Also, the homemade cookies they put out for guests on Saturday afternoon were phenomenal, and when I asked about them, they asked if I wanted more! All the staff was super nice and helpful, and the property is beautiful. It was also a short walk to everything in town, so it was the perfect place to stay! Like I said, we will be back!"

"The gracious staff at Quiet Mind is what made our stay impeccable. Lake Cuyamaca next door was serene and nearby Julian was charming. What any visitor takes away from their experience here is entirely shaped by what they bring to it. Quiet Mind Mountain Lodge gave me exactly what I needed. My abundant thanks again to the staff and locals of the nearby Pub and town of Julian."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Gold Rush Hotel while our daughter attended camp nearby. The hotel has a charming historic feel and is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Julian. Our room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located on the first floor, making it easy to bring our luggage in and out. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel does not have its own parking lot, so parking is on the street. We didn’t have any issues finding a spot during our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay."
