"We had a very good stay. The water pressure for the shower could have been better but it was ok. We did ask for extra towels and the house keeper did leave them as requested but was on the bottom shelf in the bathroom. I did ask for help with the sofa bed when we arrived on Thursday evening, but the night staff advised that she was the only one on duty and was not able to leave the front desk area but did give us the bedding for the sofa bed as requested. I think this should have been left for us when we arrived at the hotel but we managed to get it taken care of. the room keys kept on not working for us. we did speak with the hotel manager and he was very helpful in supplying new keys for the room. He was also warm and greeted us everytime we left and came back in."

"This is my second time staying at this hotel for 3 days. I appreciate the centralized location and for the area its fairly clean. Last time I stayed with my German Shepherd, every one was very friendly and the stay was great. I had a scheduling mistake this go around and we arrived around 1 am. The person at the front desk was FANTASTIC and her assistance was greatly appreciated. As for the stay, our room was clean and comfortable. My only issue is that my room was on the third floor, directly above the outdoor fire place area (nice amenity for guests) unfortunately that meant that until 3 am i had to listen to people talking and laughing (happy for them) but I had to be up withing 3-4 hour to make a very long car ride home. I was really disappointed considered the bar had shut down hours prior."

"We stayed at the Spruce cabin and it was lovely. I wasn't sure what was all included at the cabin as far as amenities. We usually stay at State park cabins, so were pleasantly surprised to find so many things included. For example, dishes, silverware, towels, sheets, pillows......even soap, papertowels, toilet paper and aluminum foil! The beds were comfy and all the appliances worked fine. The campground was quiet. We walked around a lot and it was interesting to see some remnants of when it was a Boy Scout camp from 1920-1974. Like the old stone bridge behind the Laurel Lodge (which I hope they fix up someday-it looks neat!) and some other old stone structures. The pool looks like it would be nice in the summer. We would definitely consider staying here again!"
