"Lovely hotel but after going into our room at 10pm after a festival I got changed for bed . Used the bathroom went to wash my hands and the hot water tap was broken. No hot water - no water even out the tap. Only cold water which is no good. Too tierd to move rooms. Told reception on checkout but no compensation or discounted next staff or offer of breakfast - absolutely nothing. Poor really. I said you need to get it fixed for the next guests. "This is a very nice property above a nice pub in a quiet town. We enjoyed our stay and also the dinner was very good at the pub. We were cooked full English the next morning which we really enjoyed. Thank you for welcoming us to the property."

"Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. "

"Great stay. A little hot, but it’s not the hosts fault. The fan was helpful and after about 11 PM it became a very pleasant sleep. I loved the contactless entry. The host emailed me all the details several days in advance which was nice and all I needed to access the room was a code. The room itself is very nice. The bathroom is the highlight. "Cabin on the water was lovely & the balcony a great feature although needed an umbrella & seat cushions. Unfortunately the bar & terrace area was taken over by a golf presentation so a little disappointing as very limited free seating & early closing for bar & food provision. Huge stain on the bedroom carpet, bathroom door hard to close & a very noisy toilet seat! Plenty of parking & a quiet night’s sleep. It was close to our planned event but wouldn’t stay again."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but functional. There is no parking at the hotel or near area which is very problematic. The breakfast was extra but a reasonable cost at £25 for two people. The egg was over cooked and the bacon was unusual."
