"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "Excellent all round accommodation. Warm welcome. Comfortable spotless and fresh rooms with very comfortable beds followed by a well cooked and tasty breakfast in a lovely dining room. Limited parking on site but the road alongside offered plenty of unrestricted additional parking literally outside the house entrance. Location was also on the right side of town meaning no need to negotiate the terrible one way system and constantly heavy traffic through Lyndhurst was a bonus. 5 minute walk...
