"Where to start… Check-in was a horrible experience and set the tone after a long day of traveling. My husband pulled up front to check us in and waited 10–15 minutes, only to be told I had to check in because the reservation was under my name. Ridiculous, considering we share the same last name and credit card. I rushed inside, only to be forced to wait in line again while the agent (Melenny, I believe) rolled her eyes and sarcastically apologized in Spanish as she helped someone else instead. Having to wait a second time with three hungry, exhausted kids in the car was beyond frustrating. On the way to our room, my husband and I immediately noticed the hallway was literally leaning. Our king ocean-view room (2519) included a sofa bed, small eating area, and sink. The view the next morning was beautiful, overlooking the pool and beach, and breakfast was a pleasant surprise with good hot options for everyone. Unfortunately, the carpets were absolutely disgusting. My kids walked on them barefoot and their feet were completely black—I had to wash them before bed. At the pool, you’re forced to grab chairs early or pay $10 per chair and $15 for an umbrella. The same applies to the beach. The pool bar staff were some of the rudest, most egotistical people I’ve encountered, deliberately making guests wait despite good tipping. The location is convenient, with dining, golf, and amenities nearby—but the service and cleanliness were extremely disappointing. "

"Everything was great. Issues were we stayed for a while and didn’t get new towels, how to request TP if it was needed and how to get more garbage bags. People could see us showering from the steps up to the other room. Heard a few comments and laughter during shower time which made me aware we can be seen and confirmed you can still see. Also quiet time does not matter. Lot of screaming past 10pm. Almost to midnight of screaming from the pool. "
