"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"For the price can't complain as you also get free parking. The room was clean and tidy with clear instructions as to how to access the room key. The restaurant is dog friendly also and food delicious. Just bear in mind it can be noisy in the room until the restaurant closes but not a massive issue."

"Lovely big clean room . Very noisy in the am though with people slamming doors ( there was a coach party staying) ."

"Great staff good room very pleasent stay, recomend."

"Lovely comfortable room, great shower. We really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities. Great location for exploring the beautiful Devon countryside."

"Clean room and pleasant staff"

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Lovely stay"

"Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me. The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own."

"All round good facilities, parking, cleanliness and food"

"A nice place to stay with family. Kids loved the place."

"Lovely, lovely cottage with kind, supportive and friendly hosts."

"Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet and at a great price. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."
