"The staff are lovely helpful and polite. The very best part of the hotel which is sadly a run down Victorian/Edwardian pile in desperate need of a total revamp. However, I know this will never happen as it would not stack up financially. Served us well for a single night on the way back from the Scilly. One of the few dog friendly hotels we could find in Penzance. Breakfast was nice but we chose a really busy time and the staff were amazing under pressure. The place was remarkably busy. But I guess that reflects the limited choice in the town."
