Average hotel with bi AC and no safe box.

Hotel is average, and is very expensive for what they provide. There is no AC in the rooms and it was very hot, so we could not sleep well. There is also no safe in the rooms. The elevator is very old and kids did not feel safe in it, breakfast is very basic.

Excellent stay

The situation is good with supermarkets, restaurants and bakeries near by. Bus stop in front of the hotel. One can use the bus in both directions to reach train stations. One can any time have a hot drink, excellent facility. They also provide good tourist info, brochures and maps, etc.

Property location good for our stay , nice and quiet to sleep Clean and beds comfy . No english breakfast tea , no bread on a few mornings Rolls so hard difficult to eat , otherwise choice of cereal, fruit etc. Good.

Too noisy but good location.

Large room. Good location BUT they piped the bar music outside to entice people into the bar until midnight. The windows are so thin you can hear the music and it was so loud. Plus the street noise is very loud. Water was also an issue. We couldn’t get the shower to a warmer temperature.

Noisy disappointment

A lot of noise from the adjacent restaurant. Apparently they used a door just below my room (101) that made it impossible to sleep before midnight. Avoid this room! Bathroom very small, limited facilities and very mediocre breakfast. Cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I recently stayed at Gentofte Hotel for two nights, and my overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives. Firstly, the room I stayed in was quite small. While it was clean and well-maintained, the limited space made it feel a bit cramped, especially when traveling with my family. Unfortunately, my son's experience was less than pleasant. He slept on a roll-over bed provided by the hotel, but he developed rashes after the first night. Concerned, I reported the issue to the hotel staff, who assured me that they would investigate the matter and report it to the manager. However, despite leaving my contact email, I never received any feedback or resolution regarding the situation, which was disappointing. Furthermore, an incident occurred during breakfast that left me feeling uneasy. While eating cereal with milk, I was approached by another guest who complained about the noise I was making while drinking milk from a bowl. She commented on how Europeans drink milk differently, and this made me uncomfortable, feeling targeted and racially profiled. I promptly reported the incident to the hotel staff, as I believed such behavior was unacceptable and needed to be addressed. The hotel staff took action by speaking to the lady and resolving the situation. The lady apologized for her remarks, but the experience still left me unsettled. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient, and the staff were friendly.

Excellent local hotel

Excellent hotel; will definitely recommend it. The room did not have air condition or any sort of air fan however and it was 29 °c during my stay - sufficient to say I didn't get much sleep because of the heat in the room. But it's the only downside to my stay; otherwise it was excellent.
