"The staff were so helpful and gracious. The bed in my original room was elevated as was the bath. They very kindly switched me to a different location so that I could avoid all the up-and-down movement with my knees. This was a great place to visit with dogs. Hiking, sitting by the campfire and resting near the big postcard window were memorable and relaxing ways to pass the time with furry friends. "
"Great location next to the river. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and swimming in the pool. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Juice, coffee, and cookies available all day. Comfy beds and clean, spacious bathroom. "
"We stayed in the king bungalow room with a full kitchen and spacious living room area, complete with a reclining couch and chair. The bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Everything, for the most part, seemed new or nearly new.
Close to everything but not in the middle of it. FYI: The driveway up to the motel is pretty steep, which makes walking up it after a night at the beer halls or bars a little challenging. We would stay again."
"Excellent location, safe and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog park right next to the river. On the pricey side for bringing your dog as they charge per day and not a one time charge. Everything in Helen is easy walking distance for shopping and dinning. "
"I was skeptical about booking after reading reviews however with the price being so good we stayed anyways. The hotel is old ans d it shows, but its clean. The rooms are updated but still show wear and tear. The beds are very comfortable!! Plenty of towels etc. Basic room. The sheets had rips in them, i contacted the front desk so they woupd know we didnt cause the rips. They have an incidental sheet and will charge you for damages.
