"The toilet in the reception area near the pool was disgusting and filthy. All three days it had never been cleaned. Makes me question the rest of the property. I won’t go back to another Baymont property!!"

"The rooms could be cleaner. Mold in the showers, dirty floors, stained comforter, old carpet. Its time to remodel this hotel. Its a great location tho and staff is great!"

"I definitely won't be back, the room was dirty, the pictures are nothing compared to what room I got. No balcony, no kitchen, not even a refrigerator, there was no lock in between the joint rooms so that part was unsafe. As we were packing up to leave a staff member opened our door not once but twice without knocking, one time I was changing. There is no bolt on the door to stop someone from coming in if they have a card. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. "

"The room was clean and adequate, the bed was comfortable. But the property needs serious upgrades. The pool was closed due to it being “winter”, so the rotting falling apart shade structures should be getting fixed during this time. There was trash in the grassy areas all around. The pic nic table was falling apart. Perhaps spend more money fixing up the hotel and less being sent back home to you know where. No breakfast. Just coffee which we didn’t have. I did like that there was pet fee. "

"Room was clean but so old with paint chipping and a moist mildew smell. Bed was concave and we both slept in the middle (not by choice). Would I stay again? Maybe…it is a beautiful old historic hotel in a great location, but they still need to update so you don’t feel like you are staying in an old dingy roadside motel. "

"We didn't eat breakfast but I wish we had time to. We had a early game. We will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. "

" *The staff was very friendly and helpful. *The room was very clean. Parking lot was well lit and the hotel is in a safe location. Beds were blissfully comfortable and I fell right to sleep. The beds’s elevation were a bit high causing me to be concerned for my 6 year old grandson who moves around a lot while sleeping and I feared if he rolled off the bed he would get hurt. The flatscreen tv was very nice and the sound buffer it was mounted on did a great job of buffering the sound based on I heard no noise from the rooms on either side of us. My son in-law had commented, he had trouble finding the programs he wanted to watch. He said the tv guide did not match the channel lineup. There were only 2 bath towels and 1 wash cloth in my room which could sleep 4 people. I am sure the staff would have provided more if I had asked. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and blow dryer. There were reading light for each bed. The ac worked great and its thermostat worked. The phone in my room didn’t work. The breakfast menu was okay. Consisting of two kinds of muffins, 3 kinds of cereal, instant oatmeal, microwaveable meat and cheese burritos, orange juice, milk, and coffee. Location was very convenient to the lake, shopping, restaurants, and family activities (miniature golf, roller skating, the dinner cruise, boat rentals). It is also about 15 minutes to downtown Hot Springs. "

"There were 2 downsides. The bed was terrable, hard as a brick. The pool was closed no swimming. One reason i stayed there was the pool and i had stayed in Gulfport MS at one and the bed was awesome. However the staff did bring a foam matttess the last night which was a little better. At least they tried. And they all were VERY friendly. So maybe a 4 insted of a 3?"
