"The cabins are wonderful and you immerse yourself in the Old Florida setting. I spent only 1 night but I would like to return for a whole week as a retreat to read and write. That is one of those places that stay with you and so inspiring. Since it was a Monday the restaurant was closed but can t wait to try it out next time I am back."

"We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning....

"The property was very nice. A very unique setup with the all the rooms in different eclectic buildings. It is near lots of things to do including the Kanapaha botanical gardens. Beautiful. Short walk to shops and restaurants."
