"Directly across from the train station and the Racecourse. You couldn’t get a better location! Staff was wonderful and accommodating! Would recommend all to stay here! "
"Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor.
Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over.
An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again."
"Everything was good, staff were fabulous, hotel was clean, only thing for me was that we were at the front and had the window open because it was very warm and the noise of traffic was terrible. Very very noisy road and fast speeding cars etc all night. Im a good sleeper but was awoke quite a few times by noisy traffic. I was hoping for the noise from owls or foxes haha . If i was to stay again i would ask for a room at the back ?"
"My husband and i went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here , the staff were friendly , food was lovely and the Bar was really nice, everything we needed for a lovely ,quiet ,relaxing stay ."
