2.0 star property
Molino Nuovo
7.6 out of 10, Good, (51 reviews)
"At 65 and 67 yrs , we found the climb up to room 8 with luggage difficult. Consider that when booking. Bed was rather uncomfortable, and I believe we were instructed to leave the room as we found - ie-dishes clean but there was no dish tray or towel to dry. Best as a spot for younger people. It’s an easy walk from the train station but a heck of an uphill walk back. Most important. Clean and quiet . Tks"

3.0 star property
Lugano City-Centre
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (50 reviews)
"We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. All good in the end though - the apartment was immaculate, well sited for access across the city and we'd certainly recommend to others and would revisit."

"It is super conveniently located, good private parking (at a charge). The place is clean, typical Italian decor (colorful and lacking of finish) - absolutely ok! We did have an unfortunate experience: the tlf.no. we got online was apparently wrong (turned out to be that of a landlady for a property next door, who uses the same parking facility). Through message we were guided to the apartment. As we got instructions upon contact regarding the parking, & seing that the adress & dot on the map was...

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Clivio?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Clivio, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay. Clivio is known for its mountain views.

What’s there to see and do in Clivio?

Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Swissminiatur, or get out into nature at a spot like Mount Generoso. In the wider area, you’ll find FoxTown Factory Stores and Corso Matteotti.

What’s a holiday rental in Clivio like?

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Clivio. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios to help you enjoy your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of safety away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a great choice for a family trip or a small group gathering.
