"A beautiful period hotel in a lovely setting. Food in the restaurant is excellent and not pricey, which often happens with hotels as they have a captive audience. Staff were helpful and courteous. My only niggle and it's a personal thing. It's a beautiful place but they appear to have bought a job lot of plastic trees covered in blossoms. It's such a beautiful place, do it a favour and lose the tacky plastic trees. Then people will be able to fully appreciate the beautiful period features, especially in the dinning room where there are 3 of the horrible things."

"The apartment was spacious and overall clean. Excellent sleeping mattress - we are buying one for us for home. Only the balcony was messy. Hotel on beautiful grounds and staff in the restaurant and spa were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, very close to Lancaster city, easy access by Uber. Definitely would come back."

"Our 1 night stay was fine ...a very warm night and the hotel had a sepperate electric fan in the room... the a/c was not working at all so this fan was a life saver ! The breakfast was lovely and we used the pool which was also enjoyable but small things like plastic bags to take your wet swim costumes is a simple addition .. overall a nice stay in a hotel that needs an upgrade 😌"

"It was a nice enough hotel but I didn’t like the fact that you were charged for everything. The rooms were clean but fairly basically kitted out and for the luxury market they are aiming for they are slightly missing the beat. The service was ok but a little slow or not quite on the ball. Staff were friendly but temporarily lost an ice pack of mine, forgot my gluten free toast at breakfast and gave me a tiny tiny pot of tea that was half full for breakfast. The breakfast was ok but nowhere near as extensive as most hotels. The pool and thermal suite area were nice and also clean. We also ate at the pub on site, but was disappointed with the lack of gluten free options and the very very loud music playing that made it difficult to speak. We asked for a fan as the room was very hot and the windows were tiny and we did eventually get one."

"We’ve stayed at this hotel twice over the last year and on both occasions found it to be quiet, clean and left us satisfied. In our opinion they have better rooms than PI and TL with breakfast included in the price."
