The front desk clerk was quite rude. He commented about my Drivers License picture not looking like my face. Saying the person in the ID pic was a lot younger than myself. He commented on why I was using a specific type of card, stating that he doesn’t usually see those cards being used there. The room smelled strongly of mildew. The curtains were torn and stained. The bathroom was dirty. When we asked for an extra pillow, he told us that they don’t do that. When my husband asked for a paper coffee cup at 5:00am, he was told that breakfast doesn’t start until 7:00 am. And they will put more cups out at that time. Even though there was fresh coffee available, just no more cups in the lobby area, and was advertised in the hotel details on both Expedia as well as their own website. The pool had an out of order sign on the door, “closed for painting”, even though their website and Expedia stated the pool would be open by July 19th. We checked in on July 25th.
