"The hotel has Amazing views of the surrounding hills & city . It is just 10 mins walk into the historical town downhill . We got very in expensive taxi back up the hill ! The restaurant is excellent serving local dishes and breakfast superb. However the best part of the stay was definitely the personnel . "The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. "

Hotel was very accommodating and arranged for transportation from airport and on to our next destination in Mindo. Breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious. "I can't praise the staff enough, they, particularly Yale, went beyond the call of duty to assist us. Although, there are some stairs up to the rooms, help was available to carry our bags. The room was clean and tidy. I wish we could have spent a couple more nights."

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."
