"I liked that it was close to the location I was visiting. The room was very comfortable and easy to get to, close the parking. I like that we didn’t have to pay for parking. It was included. I like that it was quiet."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very well accommodated, and we enjoyed our staff immensely. It was great to be so close to the Lansing Shuffle and downtown restaurants (go to Strange Matter - totally worth the walk for good coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and even better people!)."

"Almost everything was great. There were only a couple of things that we didn’t like. First, we paid for 2 queen beds, but the beds were double. Second, the dishwasher was full and thirdly, the hotel supplied lotion had been used. Not new."

"Every thing were great from room to breakfast and staff were amazing except we were expecting the pool to be opened as there was no mention of it being closed when we made the booking. However,, we still enjoyed the stay and definitely will recommend the property."

"Location was perfect right off highway, lots of food and stores around. Less that 10mins from the university. Room could use some dusting, faucet looked like it had some kind of water build up, just could be cleaner and more updated. Staff was friendly. One issue we had was that they made a copy of our credit card, had signature and id all our info. When asked why they needed, explanation didn’t really make sense so we asked for that copy back which after a bit of back and forth they gave to us....

"The hotel is under renovation which is a good thing... lparking is free and easy and there is a Mexican restaurant in easy walking distance. Noise at night was unacceptable. apparently there was a wedding party and they were extremely loud both Friday and Saturday night until 1 or 2am. Impossible to sleep through it. Bathroom ceiling had mold/mildew on it. Fitness center floor was dirty, no towels, no working water and for whatever reason the heat was blasting at 85 degrees. I had to turn it...

"I choose the hotel as one of my other options had clearly mentioned their pool is going under maintenance.. decided to book this.. and for all my stay their pool area was not working, when asked it was a regular maintenance and would take couple hours.. however these couple hours lasted my whole stay.. my kids were disappointed"

"I have been at this hotel several times. The only persistent issue is the very poor valet service. They do not have enough people to get cars and I have waited 20 min- 1 hour to get my car"

"There is hair dryer, no iron and board. Faucet in the bathroom looses like a wiggling tooth and can “come off” anytime. The check-in process is slow (1 service staff only at all time). A group ahead of us was even assigned to an occupied room and came back to get a different room. It advertises it has Netflix but you have to sign in with your account. Room doesn’t have enough cookware (1 small pot) or dinnerware. Never come back again."

"We were forced to book another hotel --through expedia--upon arriving and seeing a trailer full of cats, the desk staff smoking, doors with destroyed paint, pothole ridden parking lot. The place is awful and we would have felt unsafe and exposed to smoke and cat fur (one of our family members has severe allergies). I didn't even go in. I left a voicemail canceling our stay. Regrettably I didn't say why. I will be disputing the charges. "

"Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast! Friendly and service oriented innkeeper!! I didn't use the in-room jacuzzi because I didn't have time, but it looked very inviting--and I will try it on my next visit."
