"Everything about the hotel facilities were nice all you will need. I might be a bit spoiled, but I do not enjoy the toast bread, the small pacakages of butter, solid jam found in the small glass containers and the like served at breakfast. Why not serve fresh bread that we can cut slices of, high quality jam etc.? However, this issue with the poor quality of the breakfast seems to apply to all hotels that I have visited in Italy."
"Staying in a cave room but having an entryway in the room with windows out on the gorgeous Matera scenery is perfect. We also had a porch with chairs to sit outside. The breakfast was amazing! Fresh and delicious food served to us by the most welcoming people you could ask for, Angela and Agnese. We also had a wonderful piano player, Gianni, at breakfast every day - now that's a first for us!. If we went back to Matera, which we hope to do some day, we would stay here again. "Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again."
"Excellent location over looking the Sassi. Excellent services. Rooms super comfortable with great amenities . If driving to Matera hotel will arrange a parking location outside of the property (very safe) will arrange pick up and drop off the parking location. Very well organized. Hotel has a roof top dinning location overlooking Matera and Sassi. Beautiful. The staff extremely helpful . Over all an excellent choice when staying in Matera. "
