This place is very special..... It comes with the sweetest soul you have ever talked to. And there is many breay places to dine. Even walking distance to the Memorial Auditorium along with the best place to grab a sandwich.... the Yellow Deli CHECK IT OUT JUST BESIDE UNIVERSITY OF CHATTANOOGA

The building is nice, as well as the condition of the rooms and furniture. However, it is right next to a bar or an apartment with an outside bar (I'm not sure - it wasn't staffed on the night of our stay, but people were outside partying there). Loud music was playing until past 1 in the morning. The next day was pretty miserable for me, unfortunately. The Guest House provides earplugs, but I've never been able to sleep with them in.

a/c doesn’t work. i’m guessing it’s known because a fan is left for use. shared bathroom only has combined hair/body soap so might want to bring your own stuff. but a truly lovely place. would stay again.

If you're looking for someplace quiet this is not the place. Walls are paper thin. Person next to us at the TV on till 2:00 a.m. I could hear it loud and clear. People upstairs from us with like a herd of elephants up there. Other than that it was fine

Our stay was great! The staff was so welcoming; they checked in on us any time we passed them and they’re so sweet! The rooms are so nice, quality mattress, bedding, and pillows! The entire house was super clean our entire stay. We plan on staying here again when we come to visit family moving to the area.

Unit AC did not work once the entire 2 night stay. It was so hot we struggled to sleep and the room trapped the heat. Expedia listing totally misrepresented the stay - this is a hostel with shared restrooms, one of which smelled of urine and another had no tissue. The entire building needed cosmetic repair. This was hotel pricing for a hostel, which is unheard of. Listing brags of dining and sightseeing in walking distance but I'd beg to differ. Location was questionable on safety. Did not receive access codes timely either. Overall was not a good stay.

Hi Amanda! We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We wish we had been told of the issues during your stay so that we could have had the opportunity to fix what we could, or assisted in moving you to one of our partners where you would have felt more comfortable.We are listed on all of our OTAs as a hostel, with shared bathrooms and amenities. Although hostels are almost always shared bedrooms, and we are not. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, but it is always possible that other guests are not as clean as we would like. We are sorry if that was your experience.We are centrally located in downtown Chattanooga - one mile from many sights - including Memorial Auditorium, Southside District, the TN Aquarium, among others. This may be considered a long distance for some guests. Given this, we are a downtown location that does come with its fair share of city-life. This is why we offer security through indoor and outdoor cameras, key codes required for entrance into the building, and key codes for each room as well. Again, we are sorry we did not meet your expectations and hope you are able to find a more suitable accommodation for your future stays in Chattanooga. Safe travels!

The site was really clean and the other guests and staff were very friendly. It was great to be able to walk to nearby sites, including the Memorial Theater for a concert. Available coffee and snacks in the hallway added a nice touch. We wilk definitely visit again

AC was difficult to figure out and only blowing hot air so had to open a window. Other than that it was a very nice place for the price. Very clean in the rooms and bathrooms. Never saw any staff which was weird, but not a problem.

Hi Nathan! Thanks for staying with us! Our HVAC units are energy efficient, so the entire building has to be on either hot or cold. This can be frustrating - we know! Comfy beds and quiet. Each unit doesn't have their own AC and heat so that's challenging when it's hot. I'd stay again.

Bed was super hard and uncomfortable, but the heiney house was nice. Guest services was very polite and did an excellent job explaining house entry and stay information. They were ver kind and accommodating.

Stay with your dog, but factor in the shared space
This was such a cute location in a great part of town! Some things to note: there are limited and shared bathrooms/showers and it is a hostel. We loved staying here but we had to leave early due to some of the other guests. However - we will definitely be staying here again when we come through Chatt. It was cute, clean, and well managed! They were so nice to our dog too!

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised! The facility is clean and welcoming. There was a restaurant bar outside our room that was a little bit noisy until they close down, but after that it was wonderful. A very welcoming and pleasant stay
