"Great location for visiting the McDonald Observatory, Ft. Davis, Marfa, and Alpine. Room was large with very comfortable King Bed and f you need, a huge tv. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety to choose from including cereals, oatmeal, biscuits with sausage egg and cheese, breads, orange juice and coffee."

"The rooms are well designed and comfortable. It had that Americana aesthetic but updated in a way that feels cool rather than kitschy. I loved the patio. The ambiance was everything. They even had the local Marfa radio station playing, which sounds like a small detail but it completely set the tone. The kitchenette was a nice touch too. There was a small fridge, French press, toaster oven, everything you'd actually use. As a solo traveler I wasn't cooking meals, but having a place to keep drinks cold and make a proper cup of coffee in the morning was perfect. There's no front desk staff on site but honestly you don't need it. They were quick to respond when I had questions and the whole setup just worked. This added to the Marfa experience."

"Atmosphere was very nostalgic. However did not have wash clothes in the bathroom. Beds were great. Great location. Near Marfa, Alpine and the McDonald observatory. "

"Dining room closed. Long wait for bar food. Bathroom in room awful. Front of Commode crowded up against tub. Claw foot tub fits decor but felt unsafe standing in it. I expect much more for this high price."
