The COVID-19 outbreak has brought about dramatic changes to the way we travel. If you're flying to Ceuta & Melilla, the following tips will help you navigate travel's newest challenges:

• Before locking in your flight, see if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Keep informed with the latest updates by reviewing official government websites.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be ready to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked by a TSA officer.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer. Instead, position the pass on the reader and then hold it up to allow the agent to visually inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on bag. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Empty everything from your pockets, such as your wallet, phone and small change, and put them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• If you're taking food through the screening checkpoint, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
