"We went to Miramare for our 1 week honeymoon and loved every second of it. The room had a perfect balcony overlooking the sea, and makes for a perfect morning coffee spot. The breakfast is delicious with lots of fresh, local foods and gluten free alternatives. The thermal baths are therapeutic and calm, with different temperatures. Also it has private beach access, and great lunch options. All of the staff we came across were really pleasant and welcoming. Sant’Angelo is a quaint area with many restaurants and a wine bar. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The setting was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was fresh, abundant and super tasty. We loved the thermal saltwater pool and the poolside drink service. There was a communication problem with our reservation but they took care of it seamlessly and upgraded us to a big room with a spectacular view to make up for it. I hope to go back there again and recommend it wholeheartedly."

"It’s a challenging location (need to clime or take a golf cart) in this fabio lupus spot in ischia but the hotel is super run down, very old and uncomfortable The beds ate terrible and the pillows are made of foam cubes, the cheapest pillows in the market!!! Stay away from this place "

"We found this hotel located in a beautiful place, however the property is SO outdated. Our fridge wasn’t working and despite mentioning this to reception it was ignored. The electricity was out for pretty much the whole day, no apology or any notification. The smell of the sewage was horrible in the corridor during this period. The staff were not particularly friendly or informative. The porters were nice and actually offered good advise about the area. The thermal pool was good and the view is stunning. "

"This hotel is tucked away on the hill overlooking the sea. I had a room with a balcony and it was lovely. The neighborhood was very charming, safe and quiet. Antonio was the best!! He offered us advice on what to do and where to go. He makes several trips daily down to the beach so you can always catch a ride. They have a wonderful breakfast and offer dinner if you want to stay in. It is a family establishment and I really felt taken care of the entire time. I will definitely come back! Thank you Antonio!! Your hotel was the best part of our time in Italy. "

"I chose this location for its views, balcony and ratings as a romantic location to celebrate a very significant wedding anniversary. The hotel and staff delivered a mixed experience. While spacious enough and clean, the rooms were not necessarily aligned with the room rates. Some aspects were excellent and recently renovated, while others were a little tired. For the rate we paid it was a little disappointing. The rest of the facility had some excellent features and were certainly on-point especially when it comes to the views from the rooms and restaurant terrace area and the breakfast. The pool and spa area was nice enough, however could use a refresh, spa services were barely average. Communication with the hotel was sporadic until we got there. They were slow to respond on WhatsApp / email and ultimately we just figured things out ourselves. Once there, it was fine however. The biggest disappointment for us was the lack of the little extras one might expect at the price point we paid. They asked us if we were celebrating anything when we booked, and I mentioned our major anniversary would be there and in numerous requests for recommendations (which were largely ignored). Despite this, there was absolutely no acknowledgment or personal touch in recognition of our choosing the property to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is family-run, which could be a great thing but in this case seemed they were strained for resources. Just my impression. But the views! "
