"We had the place to ourselves Aug 1&2, probably due to 111° heat but we loved it, lots of pool time. Weekends are normally sold out! Loved the comfy bed, nice bathroom, continental breakfast and complementary wine/beer happy hour, popcorn etc. Blanca was very attentive and kind. We will be back for our 3rd time soon!"

"Sparrows Lodge is a total dream. I needed a little peace and quiet / a solo vacation. I booked a garden room for a few nights and couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. The lodge has a very low-key luxury, intimate feel to it.
Food is amazing, pool was great (no loud music or obnoxious people), beds are super comfy, and the garden made for a perfect reading spot. Also, everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back :) "

From the world famous Sangria welcome drink, to homemade chocolate chip cookies, to an amazing continental breakfast, to beautiful touches like cooled towels with our chips and guacamole our time at Villa Royal was 5 star.
