"Beautiful, comfortable and clean hotel 15min away from the airport by car. It’s not on the coast, but San Bartolomé’s area is incredibly charming. Since it’s in the center of the island you are not far from anywhere. There’s no elevator, there are few parking spots (including 2 for electric cars), sometimes you have to park outside. For once, window shutters allow to sleep in the dark, and sound isolation is ok. Rooms are big, bed and pillows very comfortable, and breakfast is good. "

"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk.
