The apartment was very cold when I first went in but the heating was excellent, so managed to get rid of the cold/damp conditions. Hot water at all times. A 30mins walk to the tennis centre, so not ideal without a car. Staff couldn tell me the shortest route to walk. Bus not running. Check in and out easy.

Nice club but slightly dated. Still a very nice family stay but it those smaller things… Good proximity (by car) to additional restaurants, convenience store etc.

The restaurants were excellent The unit was old and not maintained The unit had NO amenities, no coffee, no shampoo etc Dirty shower curtain, broken table and light fixture (in bathroom). The kitchen and living area has not been touched in 30 years. There is broken tiles on the main deck and maintenance staff do not deal with exterior lounges so the cushions were soaked from a recent rain. All and all not a great experience BUT the two adjacent restaurants were great.

Ona Las Lomas Manga Club appears to be past its prime and has been superseded by other properties in the greater La Manga Club area. However, it was quiet (seemed almost dead/deserted), the staff were friendly, and the pool was nice. Note that there is no WiFi. We were able to drive over to La Manga Club to enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants and avail ourselves of the grocery store there. After a week and a half of traveling throughout Spain, it was strange to encounter an area where almost all of the fellow visitors we met, as well as some of the workers, were speaking (British) English. It would be nice if the front desk were open later for late arrivals/check-ins (it closes at 5 PM).

Check-in took 45min, only three people/families before us. Friendly reception staff, though. Breakfast lacked vegetables, eg tomato, lettuce, cucumber. I found it very strange that I had to buy my own toilet paper.

Looking a little tired.

The hotel is tired and is in need of a spruce up. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very good. Minus points were poor communication from reception, a kettle but no coffee and tea facilities and there was an iron but no ironing board. We requested on but it never arrived. With just a little more attention to details and a lick of paint, this would be a good place to stay.

Family time

Before we went I explained we were elderly and my husband had cancer so would like a walk in shower, was told that it wasn’t possible in the accommodation we had booked. So said ok we would manage. What they should also have told u was that there were many flights of stairs to get to it and when I asked for some assistance with luggage got told there wasn’t anyone! The apartment was very tired looking and really needs to be updated. My daughter was staying at different accommodation at La Manga which was good because we would have refused to stay there. We were able to spend our days with her. So only used it to sleep in, where as she did intend to come to us for the day. THIS ACCOMMODATION IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ELDERLY OR PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTLY, OR WHEEL CHAIRS.

We stayed in the same apartment 6 years ago and it's 6 years older. no improvements have been made, it's probably gone backwards. Looks tired and it lacks the basics, e.g. tea spoons, tea towels, cork screw, information book for the resort, etc. Also, there is no transportation like there used to be (at time of writing), which is a problem as you're 25 mins walk from the main areas of the resort - even though the location on google is listed near the hotel, and even the description lists the apartment being "1 minute walk from la manga club" which is extremely misleading. We didn't want to same apartment, we wanted something on the other side of the resort! Having said all that, the resort is lovely and we'll be going back.

Check in information is confusing and contradictory. Tried to check in at 11am, told room would be ready at 4pm. Went back at 4pm to huge queue which is the result of check in only being open for one hour. We were told our room was not ready and that it would be 15mins. We waited and waited but room was still not ready. Many other people in same situation. Others coming back to reception complaining about the condition of their room and lack of electricity. Gave up and asked for a refund which was provided and we left and did not stay overnight.

El enclave es muy bonito, los apartamentos muy grandes y luminosos, pero los electrodomésticos son ya bastante antiguos y el mobiliario habría que cambiarlo también.

El hotel es bonito y su localización es muy chula, ya que se encuentra en una loma vistas a la manga del mar menos, rodeado de naturaleza. El precio es excesivo para los servicios que ofrecen; solo hay gel en el baño y te dejan 2 rollos de papel higiénico por estancia, horario de piscina reducido, al igual que restauración y recepción, en el bar de la piscina solo ofrecen bebidas, frutos secos y aceitunas, nada tipo snack, pero sobre todo la limpieza profunda brillaba por su ausencia como moho en las puertas dentro de la habitación, pomos oxidados y que además no hay limpieza diaria ni reposición de papel higiénico si tu estancia no es superior a 7 días. Honestamente nosotras estuvimos muy bien porque es muy tranquilo, cenamos fenomenal en Leña & Kabón (ojo: hay que reservar porque el aforo es muy limitado) y estuvimos a gusto, aunque nos pareció que pagamos demasiado por un resort que en realidad ya no lo es. Seguro que antes del COVID fue un sitio maravilloso y cuidado, pero ahora está muy descuidado, con poco personal y sin buen funcionamiento, como el spa, que existe el edificio pero está cerrado. Quizás está en proceso de puesta a punto pero entonces se tendrían que bajar los precios.

Mala ubicación, recepción abre pocas horas, una política de check out y check in abusiva, las instalaciones del hotel están muy muy lejos de las habitaciones, habitaciones viejas, la TV está mal programada y no permite ver casi ningún canal, el cuarto viejo, con bastantes imperfecciones y no está perfectamente limpio, no hacen las habitaciones.

Necesita reformas

Los apartamentos se encuentran dentro de la manga club que es un entorno natural, muy bonito y cuidado, sin embargo, la zona de los apartamentos está muy descuidada. Todo el entorno y jardinería alrededor de los apartamentos, no cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Respecto a los apartamentos, necesitan muchas mejoras, advertimos desde el primer día que la cortina que bloquea el sol de la habitación, no estaba, y sin embargo, nunca la pusieron, también habían defectos en los baños, en general, los apartamentos necesitan una reforma. El desayuno es correcto y la atención es buena, y todas las habitaciones están muy limpias,están bien para un fin de semana, pero creo que necesitan mejorar mucho.
