The front desk let us check in an hour early; our room was classy and very clean; it has a nice fitness center and sauna in the basement; and the hotel provided us with a nice welcome card and fruit tray in our room without us asking for this or charging us for it — what a nice touch. "I have stayed at many different hotels and resorts over the last 30 years. This Hampton Inn and Suites in Durham was by far one of the best if not the best. The staff were very nice and answered all of our questions. The coffee was always on and hot! The breakfast was very nice and accommodated all of our dietary needs. The location is great as well.
