The Lodge Lake Chelan

"The facility and room was clean and comfortable. However, the overall experience was not good. 1. Have to find a way to register online, upload a photo ID, upload a photo online; 2. Received a ton of messages, sent to the phone and most sent via Expedia that you have to log-in and read, over and over, over 15 messages for 1 day of stay to me, from "welcome", to a bunch of reminders of how to pay fees for early check-in, how to pay fees for late check-out, notify about rules, ask if you have questions, ask you to enjoy the facility, ask your feedback... cannot remember all but really, really lots of messages, very interrupting, unnecessary, unwelcome. 3. too many ways charge you extra: required fees, early check-in fees, late check-out fees... am sure there are others I don't remember. 4. Overall, my impression is that, you have to pay attention to many of such unnecessary, but required, steps, reminders. There are many other Hotels give you no stress and a peace of mind when all you wanted to have was a relaxed vacation."

"Casia is a beautiful property in an absolutely stunning setting, with incredible views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, and we had several excellent meals at the restaurant during our stay. The highlight for me was the Horse Connection experience with Deb. She was warm, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable, and spending time learning about the horses and walking one around the arena ended up being one of my favorite experiences of our stay. There were some inconsistencies during our visit, particularly with communication and understanding what activities and experiences were available. Casia has quite a lot to offer, and I think a more thorough introduction at check-in or a detailed activities guide would make a tremendous difference, especially for first-time guests. There were also a few smaller details and amenities that I would expect from a property at this level. That said, the beautiful setting, very good restaurant, unique experiences and some genuinely thoughtful touches made our stay memorable. Once we better understood the personality of Casia and everything available there, we appreciated the property much more."

"We stayed in one of the motel style rooms. They were clean, decent sized with a couch in the room- which is always a bonus. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.. the room was very dated - circa 1970s and it was pricey at $200 a night for what it was. It was located close to tge Main Street, restaurants and grocery store. If the price would have been better and the rooms updated we would have gave it 5 stars. Overall it was clean, comfortable, well locatwith friendly staff."
