The breakfast was definitely the best we had in Ireland. The hotel is in town, steps from the train, but on grounds that make it a peaceful and quiet stay. "Breakfast was very good! Heater in room would not shut off. Got up to 25 c. Shower would drain well. Told staff about it after our first night. Solution was to leave the window open. "

"The room was really well appointed, well housekept, the staff was always friendly, helpful and attentive and the restaurant did an outstanding job. I ate there every night for 4 nights. Mauve and Magda were above and beyond friendly and helpful. I couldn’t ask for more. A couple of things: the rooms were too warm for me even with window open and thermostat turned all the way down, I’m not sure why but I have trouble sleeping unless it’s blanket temp.
