"Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean, but not perfectly so, as bathroom grout was grungy. Breakfast was very nice, parking was easy, and the common areas were very nice. The shampoo, etc was minimal and hard to access—tiny bottles that did not empty easily. Towels were very nice—better than in more expensive places. Overall a good value and yes I would stay here again."

"The room was great and check in was GREAT but check out is when they lost stars. The lady at the counter was more interested in singing summer of 69 than helping me check out. She checked out someone in front of me and made me stand there and wait for her the I guess clear their room key or something and sing. If she would have just checked me out and the people behind me out she could have cleared all the key cards out when we were gone. "

"This hotel was a disappointment. This is the second time we've stayed in a Microtel and we've been disappointed both times. This hotel was old and in need of updates and a DEEP cleaning. The bathroom was completely disgusting - hair in the sink, water spots on the faucet and mirror, splatters on the walls, mold in the tub and on the shower curtain. We didn't even attempt to take a shower because it looked very dirty in there. The bed was okay and the temp of the room was fine, but it was VERY loud. The description said there were soundproof walls, but that was FAR from the truth. We could hear the conversation from the room next door, doors slamming down the hall all night, a dog barking across the hall. We were on a road trip, so we arrived around 10 pm and tried to get some sleep before hitting the road again. We were awake at 5 am, due to the people next door talking and turning on the shower, so we got up and left at that point. We will not be staying at a Microtel again. There are plenty of hotels for $10-15 more per night that are SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner, quieter and more comfortable."

"Everything was excellent with the exception of the breakfast buffet considering the room rate. Sparse and cheap best describe the buffet which consisted of cold scrambled eggs, over cooked sausage patties and clumpy oatmeal. Only fruit offered were a few bananas and the bread selection was also limited. There were two waffle irons available but the crowd of people trying to cook something hot for their children made the wait too long. For a Marriott property I found this buffet substandard. "

"This was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at in Fernandina Beach. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were nice! I will definitely book to stay here again in the future!"
