At the top of Mt Battie in Camden, Maine is this tower, constructed in 1921 as a WWI Memorial. There used to be a hotel on this site, but it was torn down in 1920. The tower was built on the site on the former hotel, and several stones from the hotel were used in the construction of the tower. There's a rather strenuous hike to the top of the mountain, but you can also drive right to the top within Camden Hills State Park. #mabattie #camden #camdenhills #maine #sunset #tower #goldenhour
