"Easy, short walk to areas of interest. Nice bar and dining room. Unable to control heat in room, very stuffy, was able to open a window. Breakfast was very slow and almost missed day tour, wasnt able to finish eating, was told by waitress we would be compensated, we were not. We did have an overflow backed up shower plug that was fixed promptly. The front desk staff were helpful and kind."

"I can recommend the hotel. It is clean and well located if you want to take a car tour. The breakfast was good. If you don't like English breakfast or are vegan, it's difficult to find something. The staff was nice and overall the hotel makes a good impression. The parking lot is large and well lit. The beds are very soft and not good if you sleep on your stomach."

"Fantastic hotel in a quieter part of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. My stay included free breakfast and it was delicious with plenty of options. Room was quite large with all the necessities including a mini fridge. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Our stay was lovely, nice walk into town and back everyday. Beds very comfy, free on site parking, rooms cleaned every day, biscuits replenished daily and complimentary water in fridge. Only negative was interconnecting rooms, we could hear them talking as if they were in our room. First night we had group of males partied until 5:15 a.m. then they started the music the next morning before they left. The rest of our stay was quiet. We will return again."

"Pros: Easy location to walk everywhere! Stylish and modern. Good deal with parking garage close by. Amazing water pressure for shower. Despite being on a busy street the room was rather quiet. We were top floor. Cons: Beds were not the comfiest! Springy. Lots of stairs (no elevator). "

"It was my second stay at The Western. It is an amazing hotel in a great location. The breakfast was amazing. Pastries melted in my mouth. The staff is friendly and helpful. The young lady at the front even remembered me from 8 months ago. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. It'lll be my go to hotel when in Galway. "
