"I loved the decor and friendly staff. It is a uniquely interesting hotel with each room named after an author. They even give you a bookmark with your key when you check in. They have special suites like The Sherlock Holmes and Treasure Island suites among numerous others. The beds are comfortable. There was a lovely stained glass window in our room that actually opened. "We had a nice stay! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our kids enjoyed the small saltwater
indoor pool, and the rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet—even over a busy holiday weekend. The hot breakfast bar exceeded our expectations with a great variety, including fresh biscuits, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, and more. The hotel is located in a quiet part of St. Louis, and we really appreciated the covered parking garage ($14/night). Would definitely stay here again!"
